Timeline


  • July 2012: Diagnosed with breast cancer.  
    •  
  • August 2012: Breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy).  
    • Tumor 1.8 cm, grade 3. 
    •  Sentinel lymph node tested negative for cancer. 
    • Tumor tested hormone-receptor and her2 positive.  

  •  August - September 2012: IVF, egg freezing.

  • September - October 2012: Radiation therapy (21x).

  • November 2012 - January 2013: Chemotherapy (4x AC).

  •  February - April 2013: Chemotherapy (4x TH).
    • February: admitted to the hospital for six days with a fever, too low white blood cells and a throat infection (antibiotics).  
    • Added Neulasta injection with last three chemo treatments. 
    • March: visit to the ER because of a bladder infection (antibiotics).  
    • March: echocardiogram and ECG, ejection fraction 53%.
    • April: MUGA scan, ejection fraction 53%.  
    • April: last chemo just Taxol, no Herceptin.
      •  
  • April 2013 - January 2014: Immunotherapy (14x H).
    • May: echocardiogram, ejection fraction 62%.  
    • June: echocardiogram, ejection fraction 62%.   
    • September: echocardiogram, ejection fraction 62%. 
    • December: echocardiogram, ejection fraction 59%.

  • February 2014 - February 2019: Hormone blocking therapy Tamoxifen + Zoladex.
